Syn-Ake is the beauty ingredient in anti-ageing products that has just landed on the High street shelves. Previously it had only been kept in beauty salons and used in high end procedures under high end prices, but now it has come to the shelves ready for you to use yourself. It has been dubbed the alternative to Botox and has been nicknamed Botox in a Bottle.
What is Syn-Ake?
Syn-Ake is an ingredient that is present in several anti-ageing products that is similar to Botox, however, it is a not an invasive procedure as it is just a cream and is therefore more favourable to those of us who want to turn back the clock, but don’t trust the needle. Syn-Ake was developed by a Swiss pharmaceutical company and it is supposed to mimic the venom of a temple viper snake. When bitten by a snake, the venom freezes the muscles, and this product is supposed to react in a similar way. Hence the name ‘Syn-Ake.’
How does it work?
After a recent study using products containing Syn-Ake against a placebo, the majority of the testers using the products containing Syn-Ake found that the product can reduce wrinkles by up to 52% in just 28 days. The ingredient works as a neuromuscular block. This prevents sodium ion uptake within the muscles and therefore keeps them in a relaxed state. In simpler terms, the product freezes the muscles in the face in a same way that a Botox injection freezes and holds the muscles in place.
What can you expect?
This should be the ultimate alternative to the Botox needle. Cheaper and none invasive in comparison to the Botox procedure, yet gives you the same results. After use, you should expect your skin to start to look plumper and brighter, and give a more firm facial appearance. It should straighten out any wrinkles and fine lines that are prominent on the face. The likes of Cheryl Cole, Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham use this product, or ones very similar, to give their faces a firmer and younger looking appearance. There is no need to be jealous of their appearance again as you can get their look now too.
You no longer have to book yourself in for hefty priced Botox procedures as several anti-ageing products with Syn-Ake are now available on the high street.
